Pure driving comfort
The Golf features a chassis coping with every pothole and hairpin bend, whether in sports or comfort mode. The dynamic safety suspension actively compensates for bumps in the road. Broad range of engines
The entry-level 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine is particularly economical in terms of price, fuel consumption and insurance rating. In addition, the 1.4-litre TSI engine with an output of 103 KW (140 hp) is notable for its agility, high pulling power, perfect refinement and superb economy. The TDI power units available for the Golf start with a 66 kW (90 hp) TDI engine, which already develops an impressive 210 Newton-metres from just 1,800 rpm. Even more agile and powerful is the 2.0-litre TDI, optionally with diesel particulate filter, developing 103 kW (140 hp) and 320 Nm at 1,750 - 2,500 rpm.
