The centre of power
The heart of the Golf GTI is the newly developed 2.0 l FSI turbo engine delivering 147 kW (200 bhp) of power (CO2 emissions: 190-194 g/km). This turbocharged direct-injection unit develops 280 Nm of torque, propelling the car to 100 km/h in just 7.2 seconds and pushing it to a top speed of 235 km/h.
